Clint Black is adding "television producer" to his ever-expanding resume. The music mogul has been named executive producer of the upcoming series, 'American Storytellers.' Each episode of the show will be inspired by a different country song, putting its lyrics to life through a dramatic, one-hour story. Talks are underway with several other country stars for both on-camera and behind-the-scenes roles. There's no word yet if Clint will step in front of the camera for an episode or two, but he's certainly comfortable on the small screen. The Texas native has acted in several TV shows, including 'Hope and Faith' and 'Hot Properties,' and he made it to the Final 4 on 'Celebrity Apprentice.'
'American Storytellers' is the brainchild of ITV Studios, Sony/ATV Music Publishing and Roberts/David Films. There is no word yet on a TV network or start date for the show.
