Although an official announcement is not expected from the CMA until Wednesday, The Boot has learned that Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley are giving an encore performance as hosts of the CMA Awards. Carrie, the reigning CMA Female Vocalist, and Brad, the reigning CMA Male Vocalist, hosted "Country Music's Biggest Night" for the first time together in 2008.The news leaked out earlier Tuesday when Twitter followers of CMT host Katie Cook received a tweet that Katie was "about to interview the host (or hosts) of this year's CMA Awards." At nearly the same time, GAC host Storme Warren tweeted that he was "hanging out with Brad and Carrie" (likely getting the inside scoop!) Storme confirmed the news on his Sirius XM radio show this afternoon.
The 43rd Annual CMA Awards will be broadcast live from Nashville on Nov. 11th.
