Jack Ingram's album, 'Big Dreams and High Hopes,' was released yesterday (Aug. 25), and in one day he achieved what many people dream and hope for but have never quite reached -- he set a new Guinness World Record.By participating in 215 interviews across most of the 50 states and parts of Canada, Ireland and Australia, Jack now holds the record for "Most Consecutive Radio Interviews in a 24-Hour Period." He more than doubled the previous record -- a paltry 96 interviews!
The marathon began in New York City yesterday morning at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge and continued through the night, wrapping up this morning with a performance of his Top 10 hit, 'Barefoot and Crazy,' on 'Fox & Friends.'
"Guinness World Records has been chronicling records for more than 50 years and today is no different," said Laura Plunkett, Guinness World Record Adjudicator. "We are pleased to announce that Jack Ingram has broken the record for the most radio interviews in 24 hours at a staggering 215 interviews!"
Jack's last words on the subject: "After the last 24 hours, I officially have nothing left to say."
