There is no bad blood between Taylor Swift and Kanye West, as the story that has rocked the entertainment world for the past three days has seemingly come to a close. Kanye is doing a lot of damage control to make up for his antics at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, where he stormed the stage and stole the microphone from Taylor as she was making her acceptance speech for Best Female Video. He later posted an apology on his blog and even ate a little humble pie on the 'Jay Leno Show' on Monday. And, just a few minutes after Taylor told 'The View' co-hosts that Kanye "has not personally reached out," the rapper did indeed reach out.
"Kanye did call me," Taylor told ABC News Radio in an interview just after her appearance on 'The View.' "He was very sincere in his apology, and I accepted that apology."
"During Taylor Swift's appearance today on ABC's The View, Kanye West phoned the ABC/The View studio," a rep for 'The View' tells Entertainment Weekly. "After the show he spoke personally to the country music superstar via telephone and has apologized to the 19 year-old singer. She has accepted Mr. West's apology. The contents of the phone call are to remain private."
When asked if she's now OK with Kanye, Taylor replied, "Yeah, definitely."
With her big win on Sunday, Taylor is the first-ever country star to take home an MTV Video Music Award.
