If there's a silver lining to the Kanye West cloud, it's that kids learned a lesson in manners and humility. As angry as Tim McGraw was that the rapper hijacked Taylor Swift's VMA speech, he says he was glad for the conversation he had with daughters Gracie, Maggie and Audrey after the incident."He shows himself to be an idiot every time he does stuff like that," Tim tells 'CMT Insider' (via PEOPLE). "[My girls] were upset. But what he did do is provide a great example of how not to be, and my girls learned a big lesson."
Still, Tim was fired up by Kanye's antics. He just didn't let his girls see it. "When they weren't looking I said, 'He needs an a-- whoopin'!" Tim adds.
CMT's interview with Tim airs this Saturday, Sept. 19 at 1:30 PM ET.

It would be big news for months how white people disrespect black female entertainers but since it was a black no talent doing it to a white female artist he thinks it is okay. At least Beyonce was gratious enough to see what was going on and bring taylor up again. Now Beyonce is a class act. I thank you ma'am.

Tim McGraw is the music version of Hugh Jackman.their family comes first & they will do anything to protect it. Tim has such a strong love for Faith & the girls & he doesnt care who sees it. he is making it macho to be a man with feelings. I love how he said when the girls werent looking that Kanye needed an a$$ whoopin & Tim is one would could do it. I saw an interview with Jon Rich the other nite & he said Kanye should be thankful there werent any big ole country boys in the audience because they would of taken care of matters & MTV wouldnt have had to worry about kickin Kanye out.
