Brooks & Dunn have been tearing up the country charts since 1991, and when their journey as a duo comes to an end next year, more than few fellow country acts will be jumping at the chance to join Kix and Ronnie on their Last Rodeo tour.Over the years, the duo shared the stage on tour with Keith Urban, Montgomery Gentry, Gretchen Wilson, Jack Ingram, Sugarland and Big and Rich, among others. But now that it's closing time, who'll get the call to join them on the last round-up?
Craig Morgan tells The Boot he's hoping it might be him.
"I'm just begging Kix Brooks right now ... to just please let me be with them," says Craig. "I'd love to go out with them on their final tour. I love those guys. I mean, they epitomize what a duo is and should be. Everybody knows there's behind-the-scenes stuff. It's tough when you have two guys working together, but those guys have perfected it. They've done such a great job, and they've been such great representatives of the format. I'm just real proud for them. They're real smart. Gosh, they've been doing it for a long time, and they're probably ready for a little break."
No official word on the duo's 2010 concert dates yet, but The Boot will keep you posted!
