Singer-songwriter Deana Carter, who shot to fame in 1996 with the CMA-winning and Grammy-nominated 'Strawberry Wine' has said "I do" to boyfriend Brandon Malone. According to Country Weekly , the couple tied the knot on Leo Carrillo Beach in Malibu, Calif., last Saturday (Oct. 3). Family, friends, members of the industry, and fellow artists, including pop star Deborah Gibson, were in attendance.
The newlyweds are spending their honeymoon driving through California, camping out along the way. More details on the wedding, including exclusive photos, will be featured in an upcoming issue of Country Weekly.
Deana has a five-year-old son with former boyfriend Chris Hicky. Her most recent album, a collection of cover tunes called 'The Chain,' was released in 2007.
