LeAnn Rimes has become a tabloid fixture these days. Following her split with husband Dean Sheremet, her blossoming romance with recently-separated actor Eddie Cibrian, as well as accusations of stalking Eddie's ex-wife Brandi, the singer's every move seems to have become headline news. But surprisingly, LeAnn takes it all in stride."That's what they do," she tells Access Hollywood, referring to the gossip magazines. "But I'm good ... I'm really happy and I try not to let that bother me. I don't read it."
Working on a new album, the singer notes that if people want to know how she's doing, they need look no further than her upcoming project. "Most of the stuff I've written [myself], so it's definitely my life," she says. The songs, which she says are "down the middle between heartbreak and love," ended up serving a dual purpose.
"Part of my therapy is to write. I write with a lot of my best friends, so most of [our meetings] are therapy sessions that turn into songs."
LeAnn, who has yet to publicly comment on her relationship with Eddie, recently gave people a glimpse into her private life. "I'm great," she tells PEOPLE. "I'm really happy and I am enjoying being back between L.A. and Nashville. With work and my personal life, everything's good. It really is."
LeAnn hopes to be back in the studio in November to finish her upcoming album. No release date has been announced yet.
