Craig Morgan took Video of the Year honors at the 15th Annual Inspirational Country Music Awards with his clip for 'God Must Really Love Me.'"I didn't write this song," says the singer, "but the first time I heard it, I knew I had to record it. The message that there is somebody looking out for everyone, no matter what, really rang true, especially in these tough times we're having in this country. I wanted to share that inspiration with the fans, and Eric [Welch, the video director] did a phenomenal job of interpreting the song. I'm so honored that the ICM recognized us with this award."
Craig performed the single during the awards show at the Trinity Music City USA Auditorium in Nashville. The ceremony also featured performances by Randy Houser, Ricky Skaggs and the Carter Twins.
Next week, Craig will embark on his sixth overseas trip to visit troops in Iraq and Germany. His journey will be documented for a special to air on GAC in December.
