Throughout her career, Jo Dee Messina has been known as pretty accessible celebrity. Now, she's taking that to a whole new level ... by giving fans her cell phone number! Last week, Jo Dee posted her digits, 615-866-1681, on her Twitter and SayNow accounts, encouraging her fans to give her a call to say hello."I have always loved talking with fans," Jo Dee says. "Twitter and SayNow make it really easy to communicate. This is something I will do periodically, and it's another way of staying in touch with the fans."
Last Friday, after posting her number online, Jo Dee did in fact receive several calls from her fans and chatted with them on the phone for nearly two hours.
"We had some interesting conversations Friday night," she says. "Some people didn't believe they were actually talking to me. It was cute!"
Jo Dee is currently on the second leg of her "Music Room Series Tour" where she performs stripped-down versions of her numerous No. 1 singles, favorite covers, and songs she's written but not yet recorded. Throughout the show, Jo Dee also answers audience questions.
