Garth Brooks' announcement last week that he's coming out of retirement for a 15-week string of shows in Las Vegas, has fans excited. And naturally those fans include fellow country artists such as Trent Tomlinson."I think it's great. I love Garth's show," Trent tells The Boot. "I'm probably going to fly to Vegas and go see it. I think it's great for country music and great for him to do that. It's great for people to go see his show, especially for the younger generation who weren't around when Garth was really hot and doing his thing. They'll get a chance to go see it. So that's exciting."
Trent's also excited about his latest single, 'Angels Like Her' from his forthcoming album, 'A Guy Like Me.' An acoustic video of the track is due to hit CMT and GAC in the coming weeks, while a "full blown video" is due in early 2010. Trent's label, Lyric Street, will be releasing an EP on Nov. 24.
