Carrie Underwood is known almost as much for her flawless appearance as she is for her powerhouse vocals. And while trying to sing like her may be a long way off, Carrie's willing to reveal a few tips so can dress like her.

First on the list is fabulous footwear. "A great pair of shoes, like the go-to pair of shoes," Carrie tells GAC. "Maybe something black, something silver, some staple color. You can throw on your favorite pair of jeans and a cheap shirt, cheap tank top, plain Jane kind of shirt ... a great pair of shoes makes it awesome."

Next, "Some sort of tummy control device, such as Spanx, is really nice to have, because you never know when you might need them. I have many – I am willing to admit that!"

And finally, "Good lighting and good mirrors. Maybe you tilt the mirror ... so you look taller and thinner than you actually are and you feel really good about yourself."

Carrie will have to be camera-ready as she steps into the dual role of host and performer at the upcoming CMA Awards, airing live on Nov. 11 on ABC. Her latest single, 'Cowboy Casanova,' from the upcoming album, 'Play On,' is red-hot. It's currently at No. 5 on the chart.
