Sugarland's 'Stay' Gets Second Life With Irish Singer

Sugarland Ronan KeatingSugarland's Grammy-winning hit, 'Stay,' which also took Single of the Year honors at last year's ACM Awards, could soon be an international hit again. Irish singer Ronan Keating, formerly of the pop band Boyzone, has recorded the tune for his sixth studio album, 'Winter Songs.'

According to British newspaper The Sun, the popular vocalist has also filmed a video for the song. This isn't the first time that Keating has mined the country vaults for gems to include on his own albums. He's also recorded the Keith Whitley hit, 'When You Say Nothing At All' (later popularized by Alison Krauss and Union Station), Kenny Rogers' country-pop smash, 'She Believes In Me,' the Garth Brooks hit, 'If Tomorrow Never Comes,' Lee Ann Womack's 'I Hope You Dance,' and Brooks & Dunn's 'The Long Goodbye,' which he co-wrote.

Ronan also recorded a duet with LeAnn Rimes, 'Last Thing On My Mind,' which LeAnn included on her 'Greatest Hits' album.
