Singer-songwriter Mark Collie married his longtime girlfriend, Tammy, in a ceremony held last weekend in Columbia, Tenn. According to Country Weekly magazine, Mark and Tammy said "I do" Saturday, Oct. 24 and then celebrated at a reception held at a friend's home.Mark is best known for his early '90s hits 'Even the Man in the Moon Is Crying,' 'Born to Love You,' 'Hard Loving Woman,' and 'Shame Shame Shame Shame.' In addition to penning a majority of his own tunes, the Tennessee native has written hits for others including Billy Ray Cyrus, Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, George Jones, Alabama, Martina McBride, and Randy Travis.
Mark has also acted in television and movies, and starred as Johnny Cash in 'I Still Miss Someone,' a critically-acclaimed short film which won the Tennessee Spirit Best Short Film Award and the Tennessee Arts Commissions Purchase Award. Last year, the singer released his most recent musical project, 'Rose Covered Garden.'
