Lee Ann Womack fans know they can hear her on the radio, and they're accustomed to seeing her on TV screens occasionally. But as of the past weekend, Lee Ann is also on the big screen. The singer makes her film debut in 'Noble Things,' which is now showing in select theaters across the country. The film, about a rising country star who gets into trouble with his thrill-seeking brother and suffers dire consequences, was filmed in part in Texas. Lee Ann wields a gun and badge in her role as Sheriff Claire Wade in the independent flick, which also stars the film's co-writer/director Brett Moses, actress Dominique Swain, and Lee Ann's fellow country star -- and Texan -- Tracy Byrd.
Tracy also contributes to the film's soundtrack, which was produced by Clay Walker and features tunes by Bo Bice, Pam Tillis, Tracy Lawrence, and others.
