Taylor Swift says that she sometimes struggles with referring to her red-hot music career as a 'job.'"To get to call it a 'job' seems ridiculous, because it's so much fun," Taylor tells GAC. "We're never doing the same thing over and over again. It never gets boring. We're never in the same place, it's never repetitive ... It's such an incredible thing!"
Taylor knows that she's lucky to have found a profession that she enjoys, no matter how busy she gets.
"If you're having an insecure day, if you're having a hard time in your personal life, throwing yourself into work 100% of the time makes you feel better," she says.
Some of Taylor's die hard fans have been lucky enough to be the chosen ones to help the singer snap out of her funk on occasion at her shows.
"When I have a bad day or feel really insecure, I sign autographs," Taylor says with a smile. "I'll go to my mom and be like, 'Can you go grab a bunch of girls in the crowd and have them come backstage?' Because most of the girls in the crowd are my age. So it's like hanging out with a bunch of my friends," she says.
Taylor will play both host and musical guest on 'Saturday Night Live' this weekend.
