It seems "Dusty Chandler" might be dusting off his Wranglers for the upcoming film, 'A Pure Country Gift.' George Strait took on the role of "Dusty" in 1992's 'Pure Country,' which has become something of a cult favorite among country fans and artists alike. According to Nashville's WSMV-TV, 'A Pure Country Gift' will be shooting scenes in Nashville next week with the same director at the helm as the original film. Concert scenes will be shot next Wednesday at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium, and filmmakers are asking for extras to sit in the audience. The soundtrack for 'Pure Country' produced a handful of hits for the country icon, including 'I Cross My Heart' and 'Heartland.' King George's filmography includes a small part in 1982's 'The Soldier' and a cameo in 2002's 'Grand Champion.'
