Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough Reportedly Split

Chuck Wicks and Julianne HoughOne of country's hottest couples is rumored to be calling it quits. PEOPLE magazine is reporting that Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough have ended their year-and-a-half romance.

"This was mutual. They needed some time apart," a source tells PEOPLE.

Chuck and Julianne met in the summer of 2008 on the Paisley Party Tour and have been inseparable ever since. They have walked numerous red carpets together, competed as a couple on 'Dancing With the Stars' and even have a dog together. Both have gushed in the press that they hoped to get married someday.

There's no word yet on what caused the alleged breakup, but more information is expected tomorrow.

Having once been a Mormon myself (key words, "once been", I can tell you for sure, she isn't going to marry anyone who isn't an active member of her Mormon faith that can't take her to the temple. If he wasn't LDS, she was probably hoping he would convert. If he was LDS, well, then I'm all wet.

He was probably embarrassed by her making a fool of herself (and him) by emulating Dolly Parton. Very non-entertaining compared to her dancing skills.
