Sugarland has a three-peat, winning their third straight CMA award for Duo of the Year, and once again beating out soon-retiring duo Brooks and Dunn."We don't usually expect this, but we definitely didn't this year!" Jennifer Nettles said. Then, acknowledging Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, she graciously added, "If you guys would like to come up and say anything I would love it if you did." With a wave and a polite decline from Ronnie Dunn, she continued, "I will say 'Thank you for what you've done for us. Thank you for what you've done for country music."
The duo recently released their first Christmas album, 'Gold and Green.' They were also nominated for Album of the Year this evening, which went to Taylor Swift.
