LeAnn Rimes bugs the crap out of me, Taylor is getting too much attention, and I believe Carrie's dress was beautiful. Carrie is at least more country compared to Taylor and not a whore like LeAnn.

This article just shows that beauty is in the eye of the beholder as Leann Rimes looks great as usual. Or is it that Leann is being intentionally dissed? Perhaps she has fallen out of favor with the "in" crowd.

Carrie's performance was better than Taylor's, Sorry. Carrie's voice is way better than Taylor's. Taylor got way too much attention last night. It was annoying. Carrie has more country to her compared to Taylor. Taylor did not deserve to win FVOTY nor EOTY. Carrie, Martina, Reba, and Miranda has a voice. NOT TAYLOR! Keith Urban deserved EOTY. The CMA's was trying to make themselves look better by giving Taylor all the attention. The ACM's will always be better.

I don't mean to pull a "Kanye West" here but seriously, Taylor Swift for Entertainer of the year? I mean...she's cute, she sells alot of records, but she cannot sing in tune and her songs are decidedly not country. The whole awards show circuit has degenerated into a lame mutual admiration society driven solely by "unit sales".
I suppose this is no less than what we should expect from a society in which "there are no losers...everybody's a winner..blah, blah, blah".

It's called evolution. Country music has changed so it doesn't die out. I don't label it as Country music though. I label it as Country Rock.

I loved Carrie's dress that she showed up to the CMA's in.

I do believe Taylor deserves the Entertainer of the Year award. Doing all she did and doing it in high school. Kudos to her!
