Reba McEntire is a veteran of television and the Broadway stage, so it follows that the one TV show that's relying on Broadway-style song-and-dance numbers would want the fiery redhead to join them! 'Glee' is the popular FOX show that re-imagines songs in all genres as showpieces for a ragtag bunch of performers looking for a little R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
And one of the show's cast members, Chris Colfer, who plays high-schooler Kurt Hummel, says that even though they've tackled songs by artists such as Beyoncé and Queen, that doesn't necessarily mean they'll branch out into country music.
"I couldn't do country, with all due respect to all country music artists," the 19-year-old tells 'Extra,' adding, "My parents dressed me up with a cowboy hat and we'd go to the rodeo when I was younger and it traumatized me for life!"
Still, he's got a message for Reba and other country acts who might be game to appear on the series. "Country artists are always the nicest people, like Reba ... She should be on the show. Come on the show Reba!"
