Taylor Swift's fellow country artists continue to weigh in on the 19-year-old's Entertainer of the Year win at Wednesday night's CMA Awards.Wynonna got the ball rolling even before the show aired, by telling USA Today she felt it was "too much too soon" to give Taylor the award. She later posted a message on her website which read in part: "Taylor is a beautiful, hard working young woman that deserves the success she has had and I support her as an artist and as a woman in the business."
Another multiple CMA Award winner, Randy Travis, expressed mixed feelings about Taylor's win, telling PEOPLE magazine, "As a writer, she is a phenomenal talent. When you look at the body of work that she has written at the age when she came into this business, it's remarkable. It really is. But do I think that Entertainer of the Year might have been a little early? In my opinion, yes, for whatever that's worth."
However, for the most part, Taylor's peers were elated with her CMA Entertainer win. As she worked the room at Tim McGraw's 'Blind Side' movie premiere party on Thursday, she was met by a multitude of hugs and "congratulations" from some of the biggest names in Nashville.
"I think she worked her tail off the last couple [of years] and she deserves to win," Faith Hill told PEOPLE at the premiere.
Faith's husband Tim added, "I've been doing this a long time and she's got a better head on her shoulders than I do, so I don't know how anybody could complain about that."
For the record, Taylor, who was just 14 when she signed her first publishing deal, told reporters backstage at the awards show, "I feel like it's been fast but it's also been a growth curve. I've watched the CMA Awards for as long as I can remember, and I got to come to my first one when I was 15. I know what it means to win a CMA Award. So I look at it from both ways."

Oh Wy,, lets see , Taylor hasn't been arrested for drunk driving, knocked up by a guy she met on an airplane, tried to lie about her preganacy being "back problems", went on Oprah and Larry King about 10 times hawking her latest so called weight loss program, fighting with her mother and sister on Oprah and on and on and on.
If you google "wynonna judd" on google images , the first thing to pop up is her mug shot.
So, I think moms are a lot more comfortable taking their daughters to Taylors entertainment than yours , Wynonna.

Wynonna is 100% correct. Taylor is nothing more than a Teen Age Idol who sings "flat" and hasn't paid her dues in TRUE Country music at all. She is nothing more than a "flash in the pan" and doesn't deserve to be noted with all the other great Entertainers of the Year - George Jones, Johnny Cash, Reba, The Judds, Albama, just to name a few. This years CMA show was so bad that I turned it off after listening to what they were presenting after only 30 minutes. I've been a Country Music fan since 1950 and Nashville is killing not only the true spirit of Country music, but the true sound of Country music. These younger "singers" have no talent or soul.

Wy also forgot to mention that Taylor spent a year on the road going to every country radio station, playing at mall events as well as playing at some of the writers nights at some of the bars in Nashville. She's been doing this since she was 14 (when she signed with RCA as a writer). I'm not sure what dues she hasn't paid. She had a great year and may never have another year as great (hosting SNL, being on CSI, selling out ever tour stop, being everywhere on TV and radio). If she has 80% of that year she still should be mentioned for all those awards. I think the most interesting thing will be to see how she pushes herself and others to a whole new level. Kind of like Tiger Woods when he broke in. Everyone else had to catch up and the golf world got far more interesting to watch. This will push other performers to a new level as well.

Can you say Jealous... that is petty! Too soon she has been at it for years at least 4 and who else writes their own music... Sugarland, Brad Paisley, James Otto, who else there arent many.. The ENTIRE ALBUM SHE WROTE .. not 3 songs.. she designed her sets.. sold out tons of shows in minutes.. OMG get over yourselves..

She is a great role model for our 13 year old. My friend's kids have horrible taste in music. She is sweet,beautiful and talented. I'll listen to Taylor Swift anytime.

a role model huh..... a girl who goes on stage throwing chairs... and going down a pole ya that's one GREAT role model for younger girls.. ya okay. not to mention what a horrible look for country. That is not what country music is about. She was nominated with legends. Artists who hold a whole different caliber in the world of country music. And she beat them with her pop genre music. If you ask me its an insult to someone like george strait who has been around a long time and is real COUNTRY.

I agree with Wynonna - Taylor did NOT deserve Entertainer of the Year. She is way too young and has NOT paid her dues yet. The poster that critized Wynonna's lifestyle is way off base. How about praising Wynonnas voice that far out shines Taylor, and Wynonna has more talent in her fingertip that Taylor ever will. Wynonna is a true Country singer - Taylor is only a Pop singer and will be forgotten within a few years.

Yes Winnona has a better voice and is a better "singer" like you said - how many times has she won Entertainer of the Year? Taylor is a better songwriter, better musician and overall ENTERTAINER! She is also more intelligent, she understands this business and what it takes to succeed. Winnona is an overweight has-been with addiction issues and way too many personal problems to be offering her advice to anyone - it's just jealousy

Maybe the problem is that Wynonna has had her chances and now that she is older; she feels that she is wise enough to give her opinion. Youth and paid dues do not count as long as she, and others are so talented.

All that you say about Leann Rimes is true. However, Leann didn't win Entertainer of the Year. She won Best New Artist in 1996 shortly after the Blue Album. Well deserved at that time, I might add. Also, Leann can carry a tune. Taylor is very talented at writing but her voice stinks. She cannot carry a tune. Listen to her. She's off key most of the time. You want to talk about who fills stadiums, Kenny Chesney filled more stadiums then Taylor swift will ever fill. He continues to pack every stadium he appears at and has won the Billboard Award for Top Package Tour, four consecutive years. I have nothing against Taylor Swift. Her fans all seem to be between the ages of 10 and 16. I honestly don't know any adult who has bought one of her CD's. She's not much more then the country version of Hanna Montana.
