Carrie Underwood will star in her own FOX Christmas special next Monday (Dec. 7), and with another successful hosting gig on the CMA Awards under her belt as well, fans may be wondering if the singer has set her sights on an acting career. Carrie tells FOXNews.com that although acting is not something she's ruled out, it's not a main goal for her. "I don't have an acting 'bug,'" says the country superstar. "It's not something that is on my bucket list. But if the right thing came up and we were approached and told, 'Hey, this would be something cool for you, something small.' I'm not looking to do any Shakespeare or anything major. Something small, something fun, and it sounds like it would be a good time, then I'd be in."
Carrie gets to show her goofy side in the new TV special, which also stars Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton, Kristen Chenoweth, Christina Applegate and other guests, including Carrie's own mother! "My mom gets to have fun on the show," Carrie reveals. "She actually is showing everybody where I get 'it' from ... if you will. It was a lot of fun."
