Trace Adkins continues to shine on the small screen. After appearing on 'Celebrity Apprentice' and starring in the movie 'American Carol,' as well as making a guest appearance on 'The Young and the Restless,' Trace is now joining the cast of the one-hour drama, 'Tough Trade.'Filmed in Nashville, the show's storyline centers around three generations of a Nashville music family whose problems, including alcoholism and divorce, have run them into bankruptcy. Trace plays the role of a bodyguard named 'Scared' in the show.
Produced by music legend T Bone Burnett, the show's cast will also include Sam Shepard, Joey Lauren Adams, Boyd Holbrook and Cary Elwes. The series is set to air in 2010 on the new cable network, Epix.
Trace, who was recently nominated for a Grammy, is busy co-headlining the 'Shine All Night' tour with Martina McBride.
