Lee Ann Womack is celebrating more than just the holidays right now. In addition to her three Grammy nods and landing a coveted spot on the George Strait/Reba McEntire tour, the singer recently found out she was one of the most-played artists of the past decade.'I Hope You Dance' is part of a list of widely recognizable songs from all genres, which, according to Entertainment Weekly, received the most airplay at radio. Coming in first is Nickelback's 'How You Remind Me,' followed by 'Drops of Jupiter' by Train, 'Hanging by a Moment' by Lifehouse, two songs by fellow country artist Faith Hill ('Breathe' and 'The Way You Love Me'), 3 Doors Down's 'Kryptonite' and the country-to-pop crossover, 'I Hope You Dance.'
'I Hope You Dance' also made The Boot's list of 'Best Songs of the 2000's.' Lee Ann's 2005 CD, 'There's More Where That Came From' also appears on The Boot's Best Albums of the 2000's list.
