Phil Vassar is in the gift-giving spirit this Christmas. The singer-songwriter is offering free downloads of 'Phil Vassar: An Acoustic Christmas,' a collection of five traditional holiday tunes. He puts his unique stamp on the seasonal favorites 'Silent Night,' 'O Little Town of Bethlehem,' 'O Holy Night,' 'What Child Is This,' and 'Away in a Manger,' which also features his daughter Haley.Also just in time for Christmas, Phil's fifth studio effort, 'Traveling Circus,' will be in stores on Dec. 15, earlier than expected. The album, which Phil produced himself, was originally scheduled for a February 2010 release.
