Luke Bryan's Christmas Eve Tradition Is a Real Gas

Luke BryanLuke Bryan's 16-month-old son Bo will no doubt make Christmas a little more special in Luke's household this year. The singer admits he's excited watch Bo play with his new toys. His favorite playthings these days: Tonka trucks and pianos.

"We'll do our Christmas down in Georgia," Luke tells CMT 'Country Countdown USA' host Lon Helton. "I've got to stop off at the John Deere dealership down there and equip him with plenty of toy combines and tractors. I would say a BB gun is maybe a little young for a 16-month-old, so we'll wait a few years on that, but I'm looking forward to seeing him messing around with those John Deere tractors and Caterpillar bulldozers."

While manly gifts are a newer tradition in Luke's household, there's one tradition Luke says will continue -- in spite of some obvious drawbacks. "We have quite a few Christmas parties with friends and family. Now we do a chili-dog night on Christmas Eve, which kind of presents a whole other set of problems. Glade air freshener in the stockings. Let's just say the tree is dead by Christmas [day]."

Luke's latest hit, 'Do I,' from the album 'Doin' My Thing,' continues to climb the charts, which should make those chili dogs go down a little easier this year!
