Lilith Fair, the world-renowned touring music festival which featured primarily female acts, is returning after an 11-year hiatus. Created by Sarah McLachlan, the tour ran from 1997 to 1999, traveling all over North America and raising millions of dollars for various charities.Now, Lilith Fair is hitting the road again, with an all-star lineup including country's own Miranda Lambert, Sugarland and Emmylou Harris. They'll be joined by Sarah, Sheryl Crow, Colbie Caillat, Erykah Badu, Sara Bareilles, Mary J. Blige, Corrine Bailey Rae, the Indigo Girls and several others.
Lilith Fair, during its previous three-year run, featured several country artists, including Martina McBride, Mary Chapin Carpenter and the Dixie Chicks.
These cities have been announced for first leg of the tour, although concert dates have not been confirmed.
