Julianne Hough grew up listening to country faves like Faith, Shania, Reba and Dolly, but also found herself being influenced by big-voiced pop stars like Christina Aguilera. So it was doubly a thrill for her to land a role in the upcoming movie, 'Burlesque,' which also stars Christina, who has been somewhat of a mentor to her country co-star.

"Filming 'Burlesque' is fabulous! It has an amazing cast, and it's phenomenal," Julianne gushes to The Boot. "The storyline is great, the dancing is phenomenal, and of course Christina sings her butt off in it! I've learned so much from watching her. She definitely knows what she wants, and she's phenomenal at everything she does. I was in the studio with her and I was flipping out, because she's been my idol since she first came out, so it was just a really cool experience for me just being there and watching how she works -- I was blown away!"

Julianne will also be seen in the remake of 'Footloose,' alongside 'Gossip Girl' actor Chace Crawford, due for release in March.
