Reba McEntire is on top of the country song charts for the 34th time in her illustrious career. The country icon's latest single, 'Consider Me Gone,' hit No. 1 this week on both the Billboard Country Songs Chart and the USA Today/Country Aircheck chart. . "My Valory Music Company family gave me the best Christmas gift ever -- a number one record!" Reba gushes. "'Consider Me Gone' is a great song, and I'm just proud to be a part of it. 2009 has been great. Thirty-four No. 1s are great. And, I feel like we are just getting started!"
'Gone' is Reba's second single off her critically-acclaimed album, 'Keep on Loving You.' Its reign at the top of the charts expands her run of No. 1 hits to 26 years. Reba's first chart-topper, 'Can't Even Get the Blues,' hit No. 1 in Jan. 1983.
Reba can be seen on Faith Hill's CBS television special, 'Home for the Holidays,' tomorrow (Dec. 23) at 8:00 PM ET.
