Taylor Swift is the People's Choice Award recipient for Favorite Female Artist!"Thank you!," she gushed from the stage. "What a beautiful way to start up a new decade. Thank you so much! I want to thank the fans. You're the ones who choose which songs on the radio you want to turn up and blast from your car radio and you're the ones who choose what concerts you want to go see. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing to give me this award."
Already the proud owner of dozens of awards, including five American Music Awards, this is Taylor's first People's Choice Award. She beat out Carrie Underwood, Beyonce, Britney Spears and Pink for the trophy. She also has eight upcoming Grammy nominations, which is the most nods for any country artist.
