Last month, news broke that country superstar Garth Brooks was suing the Integris Canadian Valley Regional Hospital in his hometown of Yukon, Okla. Garth made a $500,000 anonymous donation to the hospital four years ago, after they promised to build a Living Center in honor of his late mother, Colleen. Since the hospital has failed to build the center, Garth is alleging breach of contract and wants his donation returned. But, he explains, it's not just about the money."The only thing bad about that is it's my hometown, and it's all the people I grew up with," the country superstar tells 'Access Hollywood.' "So it's a heartache, and hopefully it will be over soon because this is probably the most uncomfortable I've ever felt."
Another of Garth's charitable efforts is proving much more harmonious. He's teamed up with the Professional Bull Riders, Inc. to raise $1 million for Teammates for Kids, which helps various children's charities.
