George Strait and Reba McEntire have a shared history of music and lifestyle, having both been on MCA Records together at one time, and both growing up in the cowboy way of life, even though one's from Texas and the other from Oklahoma. The two superstars now share an immediate future, as they get ready to embark on one of this year's biggest country music tours, kicking off Friday in Baltimore, Md. and Saturday in Greensboro, N.C.The two performed together for the first time in many years last summer, and Reba can't say enough about George and the longevity of his career. "He's got great songs," Reba says matter-of-factly. "Everybody loves George Strait. He's hung in there throughout the years, and he comes up with the greatest songs. So that's a great combination of why he's stayed in the business so long." Lee Ann Womack joins the pair on the trek, which is currently scheduled to run through April.
In other Reba news, she keeps adding to her line at Dillard's Department Stores. She began with her clothing collection, then added shoes, luggage, linens and bedding. Added to the Harmony for the Home line is her new fine gift collection called Studs and Stitches, which features silver serving trays, picture frames and much more.
