Garth Brooks or Vince Gill could end up as one of the next judges of 'American Idol' ... if Kara DioGuardi has anything to say about it! Kara has spent a lot of time in Nashville writing songs and has developed such an appreciation of country music that she says she could see a country celeb taking Simon Cowell's place on the show when he leaves. Kara tells Buzzsugar.com that she thinks a country judge would add some spice to the longtime talent competition."I like the idea of somebody who has a lot of opinions and a big personality. And there are a bunch of them out there!" says Kara. "I can even see someone from the country world, maybe a Garth Brooks or a Vince Gill. A lot of people that love country music tune in; they're a large part of our audience, so I think that would be an interesting flip on it."
Kara penned songs with Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts, and a few other big Nashville names during a recent trip to Music City.
