Justin Moore Welcomes Baby Girl

Justin Moore, Kate MooreJustin Moore is a daddy! The country star's wife, Kate, gave birth to their first child, daughter Ella Kole, on Thursday (Feb. 11). Little Ella came into the world at 12:29 PM, measuring 18 inches long and weighing in at 6 lbs. 8 oz.

"She and my wife are perfect," Justin tells The Boot. "Both are doing great. All I can say is, wow! It's the most unbelievable thing I've ever been through ... so thankful."

Justin and Kate decided to plan Ella's birth via C-Section, due to the fact that Justin is in the midst of the American Saturday Night tour with Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert, and he didn't want to risk missing the birth of their first child.

Our congrats to the proud parents!

ok weird. they could have just asked for a scheduled induction.... unless there is some medical reason they are failing to mention.... because i was nearing the end of my pregnancy, a 3 days before my estimated due date to be precise, when i asked my doctor to let me be induced, for convenience sake (plus i wanted relief from my physical ailments like heartburn, etc.) and after my doctor did his doctor thing, he made a doctor decision to let me be induced the day after my due date if I didn't go into labor on my own by then. What I'm saying is that I'm sure there can be a private jet on stand by to go at a moments notice to get him to the hospital on time or at least he'd have known to go to the hospital on thursday for a scheduled induction. makes no sense to me why they chose to get cut open.

I don't understand why someone would elect to have a C-section. That's nuts.

I am surprised that the Doctor would perform a "C-section" only because the father of the baby is on tour. Normally, it is only done for emergency reasons, or if the Mother already had previous C-sections. I guess the Doctor got more money for that kind of delivery.

I have read about a lot of "stars" having elective c-sections. There are certainly other options. But folks seem to have to have things their own way and be in control of everything these days.

I am the mother of five children, and I would never elect to have a c-section for convenience sake.

Obviously, you don't listen to country music or you would know just exactly who Justin Moore is. He's a great performer and entertainer.
