Over Easter weekend (Saturday, April 3), Love and Theft's Eric Gunderson took the walk down the aisle to wed his beautiful girlfriend of four years, college student Emily Hagar. The private ceremony took place at sunset on the front porch of the historic Hazel Path mansion in Hendersonville, Tenn. with 150 guests in attendance."I wanted it to be dark and romantic with a lot of candles, a bunch of really cool lanterns, satin purple linens and lots of jewel-tones," says the new Mrs. Emily Gunderson.
After exchanging their vows, the bridal party (which included Eric's bandmates Stephen Barker Liles and Brian Bandas as groomsmen) enjoyed a menu of chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, bread and salad. "Good-old southern country food," the bride says.
The couple's first dance was to Michael Buble's 'Crazy Love.' Later in the evening, Love and Theft took the stage to perform The Temptations' 'My Girl' for the happy couple.
Upon returning from their honeymoon, Eric will rejoin his bandmates on the road where they open up for Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum on the Southern Voice tour which has 45 dates booked through August.
