Miranda Lambert is the ACM's Top Female Vocalist, to add to her Video of the Year trophy for 'White Liar' and Album of the Year honors for her critically-acclaimed project, 'Revolution.'

Luke Bryan is the ACM's Top New Artist, in the first of two fan-voted awards handed out Sunday night in Las Vegas. No, I'm not 8 years old and, actually, I have very sensitive hearing. I'm a professional adult pianist who has accompanied singers and instrumentalists -- groups and soloists -- for many years. I like many different types of music, and don't like some others. Obviously, I see something terrific about this young music talent that you don't see. I will respect your right to enjoy the artists you like, and I would appreciate it if you would give me the space to express my compliments to the musicians I like. Taylor Swift's writing, singing, and performances have garnered praise from many professional musicians. There's a big world out there and there is room for all of us. Get well soon.

Taylor sang just as well as anyone else last night??? Oh no. She sang better!!!
What's the matter people? Can't you hear
nuance in a beautiful voice? They don't all have
to sing the same, you know. Taylor will launch a new album this year, and she will win tons of awards again because she is that good.
You jealous folks ought to put your
negativity where there is no sunshine.
Taylor, you let your sun shine and shine and shine,
because people all over the world love and appreciate you. You are a one in a million genius and we thank you for sharing it with us.

Are you like 8 years old and deaf? Really... it's the fans like you that make me truly sick! Millions spent on this non-talent!

I sing professionally (part time) and I have perfect pitch. I have listened to numerous award shows including last night's and Taylor sang just as well as anyone else -- and the award winners of the evening were a bit off key here and there, because that's normal in that kind of setting. Taylor is amazingly creative and she is a spectacular performer and gifted musician who put country music back on the map when it was languishing. If she weren't so spectacular, she wouldn't be the main topic of conversation again this year!
Praise the people you like and don't go into the gutter bashing others. By the way, I'm no pre-tween little darling. I'm a 58 year old woman who has worked with two White House administrations and one state Governor on policy development. I love what Taylor does and am eagerly looking forward to seeing her next creative vision and hearing and experiencing her next performances.

Carrie Underwood is good, but she is the flavor of the Month like Taylor. After while enough of her being in our faces. Mix it up, all award shows, so many great other ones.

Taylor is still growing and coming into her own, she can only get stronger. You can't expect her to be like some of the older ones. I agree she gets off key now and then, but hey they all do. To do what she has done at her age is amazing. She may not have deserved ENY last year, but she still is a mighty power to deal with.

I love country music, but gosh, so many of them can't really sing or all sound alike...but hey, they're singing all the way to the bank! I thought Tim McGraw sounded awful last night and look how popular he is!

Taylor Swift looks like the mascot from the red bird cardinals, she looks just like a bird in the face. I'm surprised bird feed wasn't tossed to her while she was singing on stage last nite. (She can't sing worth a flip). Hillary from Lady Antebellum is beautiful and an awesome singer!!!

Wow! there are alot of music experts out there today, who just love to trash performers for no apparent reason.
The awards I think get presented because the performer is doing something right and selling records.
Why dont you think before you click send.
Taylor Swift is a mere child who has amassed a fortune singing and writing songs. She is talented and a child that any parent would be proud to call their own.
Shame on you people who trash her because she is sucessful.
