Reba Joke Doesn't Sit Well With Kirstie Alley

Reba McEntire, Kirstie AlleyActress Kirstie Alley was the target of one of Reba McEntire's quips on last night's ACM Awards, and the punchline earned jeers from the former 'Cheers' star.

In a gag that first took aim at a country superstar, Reba joked, "Next is Toby Keith. Toby has a chain of restaurants called I Love This Bar and Grill. It specializes in fried onion rings, fried mozzarella sticks and southern fried Twinkies. Yeah, that sounds like Thanksgiving at Kirstie Alley's house to me."

Kirstie, a frequent Twitter user, tweeted: @reba wow...thought we girls would stick together....next time you need a fat joke about me, just ask...Mine are funny."

I don't think someone should tell a joke about another person if it hurts them, and you know this hurt Kirstie. How would Reba like it if someone said she has big DUMBO ears, and that lip job made her look awful.

Furthermore, I'm overweight and make fun of my eating habits and so do my friends. SO WHAT!!! I mean if you eat too much and your fat and admit to it then why get mad about someone stating the obvious or making a retarded funny joke.....Jesus Lord what a bunch of oversensitive ninnies.....By the way people say reba can't sing and make funny of the way she looks all time....don't see her crying....she continues doing her thing...Lets all grow up damn

Who cares about this.....for the love of God. I watched the supposed horrible joke and found it to be funny....for someone that is supposedly known for comedy, Kirstie sure has a bad sense of humor. If you have a show called "Fat Actress" then yeah someone might make a stupid joke at your expense. Why is she complaining.....you kind buy the kind of publicity that Reba just gave her on a major telecast. So lets just lighten up, it's not that serious.

I've been a lifetime "Reba" fan. However, in my opinion, her joke was in bad taste. If she ever had a weight issue, she would not be making these jokes about others. If a person wants to poke fun at themselves that's one thing. Other than that, it is very cruel. I really thought Reba was a bigger person than that.

I think the joke was pretty mild & Kirstie should
have just ignored it, I mean she did have a show called "Fat Actress." Not that there's anything wrong with that, she's in the company of most Americans. It's getting so nobody can say anything except obscene jokers like Jaime Foxx who went on a rant over 16 yr old Miley Cyrus & days later complained about Michael Jackson being judged for his looks! (Even though it wasn't his looks at all, but his plastic surgeon's work.)

first of all..........Reba just reads what is written for her, and I felt all her jokes that night were in bad taste! blame the writers people!! and Kirsti who cares what ignorance drives people to make fun of others..kudos girl on your journey of weight loss!!

So what that Kristy is a big woman. Reba hasnt allways been the twig she is now either. I thought her comment showed poor judgement on Rebas part. I thought she was smarter than that. Guess not.
