Since scoring his first big hit with 'Beer on the Table,' country newcomer Josh Thompson has been learning to deal with a lot of change in his life. "There are things that I like to do in my personal life that don't necessarily mesh with my schedule very well," Josh tells The Boot. "I like to hunt, fish, hang out with my buddies, and write songs. It's finding time to do those things that is definitely an adjustment."One thing that's pretty much stayed the same for Josh, however, is his love life. "I just don't have time for [a girlfriend] now," he notes. "It's kind of boring. I wish I had more dirt to give you, but as soon as I do, I'll let you know!"
So when he has time to look, what type of girl captures Josh's attention? "What I look for in a woman is someone who's not afraid to get her hands dirty," he says. "A girl who likes to go four-wheeling and fishing and can go out and drink a beer, but can also dress up and act like a lady when the time presents itself."
Josh's schedule is about to get a little more hectic starting next month when he hits the road with Brad Paisley on the H2O world tour. For a complete list of dates, click here.
