Martina McBride didn't let Trace Adkins go unscathed prior to leaving the co-headlining Shine All Night tour last weekend. She actually took a page out of the books of Brad Paisley and Brooks & Dunn and was able to prank the Louisiana native."It was his last round of shows with us," says Martina. "Before I left Nashville that weekend, I went to this theater prop store and bought these fake booties (and she's not talking about baby booties!) They were huge, and me and my fiddle player actually put them on and went out and danced around on 'Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.'"
You can catch all the booty-shaking going on, because Martina videotaped the prank, which included Trace's reaction when they danced their way on stage. "He was taken by surprise," explains the 'Wrong, Baby Wrong' singer. "We actually got it on video, and we put it up on our website and on YouTube on our 'Martina Moments' for this week. You can't beat that for a 'moment.'"
Martina and her real-life badonkadonk will be in Greensboro, N.C. on Friday (April 30).
