Julie Roberts and Family Rescued During Nashville Flood

Julie RobertsSinger Julie Roberts, her mother, sister, and the family's four dogs were all trapped by rapidly rising flood waters during the recent devastating storms that hit Middle Tennessee. Rescuers had to evacuate Julie, her family and their pets from the second floor of their Nashville home.

"It was crazy and horrifying," Julie tells FOX News of the events of Monday, May 3. "Rescue boats were coming by for hours."

Julie says she last saw the family's three cars floating down the street.

"We need your prayers," Julie says of Nashville and the surrounding area. "It looks pretty disastrous for myself, my neighbors and everyone in that area of Nashville."

Julie, 31, was a CMA Horizon Award nominee. Her best-known hits include 'Break Down Here' and 'Men and Mascara.'

Julie is one of many country singers affected by the historical flooding. Dierks Bentley, whose basement flooded, had to cancel several shows due to hazardous driving conditions. Naomi Judd's buffalo escaped after her fence was washed away by the strong currents. And Joe Dee Messina returned home from touring to find five feet of water in her house. Maybe I missed something, but so far this is the ONLY article I have seen on AOL pertaining to the floods here in TN. Many areas here are devastating... deaths, missing people, billions of dollars in damage...

Did you know that Al Gore just purchased a new home in Southern California for close to $9Millon dollars. The Local Boy is moving West. Al Gore will bring his Global Warming to California, He Left his home state with the AL GORE FLOOD ! God & Mother Nature are Very Mad with Al Gore. He just might cause a large Earth Quake in California if he falls down, or open's up his B/S Mouth full of lies and Al Gore Hot Air. His neighbor will be Oprah. Watch for his B/S on a New Book that Oprah will sponsor. Where is the TVA when you need them most ?

Al Gore will blame this on global RAIN ! FYI: Al gore just purchased a New California Home over/looking the Pacific Oceann. The home has 15 bathrooms, and cost close to $9Millon Dollars, his new neighbor will be Oprah. Local Southern boy, sells out his home state, and brings his Gas and B/S to California; He will be right at home in LA LA Land, The Land of Fruit and Nuts ! FYI: Their were some good wild fires in LA LA Land, and Al Gore, just might cause a NEW FAULT/EARTH QUAKE; We do not need this NIMBY in CALIFORNIA, maybe he will run for Governor of California in a few years ? LOL, LOL ! Al gore can buy his Elected Office with all of his B/S & LIES !

Mark my words, all of the stuff that's happening now is just the tip of the GLOBAL WARMING NIGHTMARE that everyone has been brainwashed into thinking
"doesn't exit". It does and it's here. All the praying in the world won't help one bit. But HEY...if it makes you feel better go ahead and pray!
But educating yourselves to the realities of life would be much more useful!

there is a lot going on...almost too much to comprehend..Hal Lyndsy made the statement on one of his shows a few weeks ago that if not for his assurance of Christ's return and him knowing who he belongs to; it would be almost overwhelming...

We sit back and watch the turmoil and destruction all around us and just weep. It is sad; but like Lyndsy I know who my redeemer is. Bible is being fulfilled right in front of our eyes. We can't have much more time left?? We just have to pray that our heart does not grow weary.
