Miranda and Blake were engaged May 9, in a surprise proposal that happened in the woods near the couple's Tishomingo, Okla. home. "I was so proud of him," Miranda tells PEOPLE of her reaction to the ring. "We've been together five years, so he knew exactly what I wanted but it's so much more perfect than I could have picked out myself."
There's no word yet on a wedding date, but you can bet Miranda is already dreaming up the perfect day. "I'm just excited to be married," she says, "because I want to tell Blake I really can love him the rest of my life and be happy and make him happy."
