Keith & Nicole Share a Charitable Chat: Photo of the Week

It certainly pays off to help those in need! One lucky caller who phoned in to make a donation during Sunday's 'Music City Keep on Playin': A Benefit for Flood Relief' telethon got to speak to both Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. The actress was one of dozens of celebrities to take calls during the three-hour live television event on GAC, while her husband served as a performer. More than $1.7 million (and counting!) was raised for victims of the deadly floods that devastated middle Tennessee earlier this month. Read our full recap of the star-studded show here, and make your own donation to help flood victims here.

I think it's great that Keith and Nicole who are both from Australia, but have adopted Nashville, as their home, come out to the charity banks to help bring in money for the people who need it. Especially, when Keith lost just about all His equipment in the flood. I wish them all My Prayers, to everyone in Nashville. We are praying for You and wish You the best. We hope all those people whom the music People of Nashville helped, if they could send just $1.00, it would help. My Granddaughters who are 6 and 8 years old wanted to help, so they asked if they could donate their allowance, which is $1.00 a week each. They came to Me and said MomMom We have some bad news and some good news. I asked what's the good news they said, We want to donate Our allowance to the People of Nashville. I said You're right that is good news and very kind of You to do that. So I then asked? What;s the bad news? They said, We can't buy You anything for Mothers Day till next week. I said I'll make a deal with You, You donate Your allowance, and We'll go out for Dinner for Mother's Day, that way You're taking care of Mommy and Me. They replied but who is going to pay for it, You or Mommy shouldn't have to pay for it, I told them go talk to PopPop, and He will come through for You Girls. Especially when He knows what You did with Your allowance. It all worked out, their PopPop was the Man of the Day for Mothers Day. So We told them if they donate their allowance on Fathers Day, We will make the same deal. They were so excited, ready for the big surprise. Well when Nashville is back open, can We go there to see what We helped to fix. Not only did they donate their allowance, and take care of the Mother and Father Day gifts, and get to go to the diner for dinner, but they are getting a vacation out of the deal. They deserve it, they have contributed to every catastrophe We have had this year so far, as they had to deal with the death of their Great Grandmother, and their Great great grandmother, as well as a Great Aunt, and their parents breaking up. But still they want to help others. I'm very proud of My Granddaughters. God Bless these little Angels, and to all the People whom they want to help. If they have their way, they want their Grandfather and I adopt a Brother and Sister from Hatti. Now they want us to do the same for children in Nashville. That's how great they are, they are always thinking of others, before themselves. So Nashville, and Hatti, and other areas that have been hit with tragedy, I WANT YOU TO KNOW, THAT YOU HAVE 2 LITTLE ANGELS LOOKING OUT FOR YOU, IN SPITE OF WHAT THEY ARE GOING THROUGH. Which is a lot for a 6 and 8 year olds. I'm so proud of them, and everyone else who is helping the ones who have been affected by this strange weather systems We have been having, all over the world. Our Prayers also go out to Our troops, and their Families, May God Bless This WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
