Reba Has a Doppelganger

When CMT Music Awards host Kid Rock announced a surprise performance by the "Queen of Country Music" during Wednesday's live broadcast, the audience certainly wasn't expecting that "queen" to be in drag! But out came 'Saturday Night Live' comedian Kenan Thompson dressed as Reba McEntire, whom he has impersonated (albeit very loosely) on the show.

Fake Reba started to sing the redhead's recent hit, 'Consider Me Gone,' but was interrupted by Real Reba, dressed exactly alike in a floor-length green gown.

"What are you doing?" Reba asked Kenan.

"Who the hell are you?" he replied.

"Who are you?" Reba deadpanned. "You look like Kenan Thompson, who I heard has been impersonating me on 'Saturday Night Live.' Aren't you embarrassed of yourself?"

"Yeah, I'm embarrassed someone showed up in the same dress as me," Kenan answered.

"Not the same size!" Reba fought back. "You can't be Reba. You're too dark ... I'm ginger with highlights and you're a solid auburn!"



Kenan has done several sketches on 'SNL' dressed as "Reba." Watch one of the hilarious videos here (but parents be warned -- it's racy!). And in the wake of her cross-dressing doppelganger's debut on the hit NBC comedy, Reba's fans have started campaigning to score her a coveted spot hosting the show. The "Reba McEntire to Host SNL in 2010" Facebook page now has more than 2,000 fans.

I agree with you debbar4 this cmt show was not the best..it was as bad as when billy ray and miley hosted it....It made me sad. the ACMA show is soooo much better...more class.....now don't shoot me for what I think...its just me..no need to come at me with hateful words....I'm just saying!

That skit was HYSTERICAL!! I absolutely adore Reba's sense of humor. She is a wonderful entertainer. Kenan to me looks just like Reba. lmao!!! Great show!

I didn't find this funny. There are too many African American female country singers who are NOT given a chance in country music because of who they are. I love country music,but I would like to see MORE than PRIDE and RUCKER. Reba is GREAT!!

I felt bad for the acts of the night, it seemed that their in ear monitors were not working. Timing was all off. I think CMT needs to find a new Host for next year too. I do like that the fans are the one's who vote, we are the one's that buy and listen to the music.

i thought some one was channelling Flip Wilson/Geraldine at first. You know, it takes a strong comix to put on a dress and do drag for laughs.
I am sure the sketch needed some work, but it probably was funny.
