During this year's CMA Music Festival, fans camped out for 20 hours to get a chance to catch a special show and autograph session by Rascal Flatts on Saturday, and the guys were blown away by the dedication of those fans."I don't know if there are words to describe 20 or 30 hours of sleeping on a sidewalk just to get in to see us at the CMT signing," lead singer Gary LeVox tells The Boot. "The reason why we've had 10 years in this business is because of them. They've really supported us in everything we've done. We actually call them our 'Fam Club,' because we actually spend just as much time with them as we do with our own family. We're humbled, we're grateful and we can't wait for the next 10.
"They're like, 'are you ready for the next 10?' And we said, 'Yeah! Are you ready for the next 30 hours in 10 years to sleep on the sidewalk again?' [laughs] So, we're thrilled to death to be here and just to get to shake their hands and sign some pictures."
The guys are now busy in the studio prepping their new album, which is currently scheduled for release in September.
