Tracy Lawrence's Dog Stolen From His Truck

Tracy Lawrence's dog, TankTracy Lawrence has issued an alert and is asking local residents in the Mt. Juliet, Tenn. area, just outside of Nashville, to help him search for his beloved two-year-old English bulldog, Tank. Tank was taken from the singer's truck Tuesday evening (June 15) at approximately 8:30 PM while Tracy had made a quick stop at a local Walgreens store.

Tracy's truck was parked in the Walgreens parking lot located on Mt. Juliet and Lebanon Roads. Tank had just been bathed and was not wearing his collar or identification tags at the time.

"Tank was my Father's Day present two years ago," Tracy says. "He's not only a member of our family, but a part of our road crew. We'd sure like to have him back home with us and appreciate your help."

Tracy is offering a $500 reward to anyone with information surrounding the dog's theft or whereabouts. Anyone with information regarding Tank's disappearance or current location is asked to contact Sgt. Michael Mullins at the Mt. Juliet Police Department by calling (615) 754-2552.

UPDATE: THE DOG HAS BEEN FOUND!

It says that the dog had just been bathed. He had probably just picked him up from the groomers and that is why the dog didn't have his collar or ID on it. As far as the amount offered for a reward, $500 is a resepcatable amount for ANYONE to offer! Just greedy people would want more, and shame on them for taking advantage of a rich person who loves his best bud! Besides that, the reward is for any information on the theft or whereabouts of the dog, not just for the dog's safe return! He may pay out quite a bit more until he gets Tank back! I hope that he gets his dog back. I also hope that he has the animal microchipped or tattooed so that, if the dog's collar isn't on him again, he has permenant ID on him!

Doesn't matter if he is rich, he shouldn't have to offer any reward to get HIS property back! The dog was stolen and any DECENT person who found the dog would give it back w/o a reward, only a crook or an ahole would hold out for the money.

Oh, come on!! I'm sure he feels bad enough. Yeah it can be hot these days. I live in Virginia with my English Bulldog and actually I have to drag him inside from out of the sun because he loves to sit in the sun. How do you all know what the temp was yesterday? Also, what kind of price would you put on your animal, probably not $500.

he is tracy lawrence..... why just not tuck the pup under his arm, go in to shop, check out and be on his way?!! Who is going to stop him?? I am sure the pup would be much better behaved and less noticeable than some skank with her 4 or 5 bast---s screaming at the top of their lungs in tow! This is an exremely unfortunate incident. Can you imagine how the dog must feel???????

Tracy we are based in Beverly Hills, California and have handled several of these cases involving missing and stolen pets over the last 19 years. There has to be more to this story.......

Very sad to have this happen,

I'm so sorry to hear you've lost your companion, Tank. I know I would be going out of my mind if I lost my kitty. They become like your children, we love them so much. I'll pray for both of you that you will soon be reunited.

ditto to vickie & scott, but also everyone should get their pet microchiped, that way anyone taking this dog to an animal hospital, or if Tank is found somewhere, the place can scan him for the chip and Tracy will be called. People: keep your pets out of the cars alone, keep them up to date on vaccinations (and if over six years old, get the proper blood tests) and microchip them, for their own safety. Love your pet, take care of them!
