Nashville Rising Flood Benefit Keeps Tragedy in Limelight

Faith Hill, Tim McGrawWhen Faith Hill and Tim McGraw decided to put a benefit concert together to help their Nashville-area neighbors so badly devastated by the May floods, the country superstars' phones started ringing off the hook. Everyone from Taylor Swift to Sandra Bullock wanted to be a part of the fundraiser, and a star-studded lineup quickly came together for Nashville Rising.

The Boot was invited backstage at the show rehearsals this week. We talked to Tim, Faith and a host of other stars about their own personal flood stories and why this benefit is so close to their hearts. Watch our exclusive video after the jump.

I have a question for anyone who can answer it. When these country stars fly to Nashville and stay the night for a charity event, does the charity pick up the tab for airfare, hotel, food, transportation, ect.? For instance, LeAnn Rimes flew with her boyfriend from LA to Nashville and spent the night but she only sung 2 songs. Did the charity pickup her tab?

Tim and Faith are so incredibly awesome! They are great entertainers, but, more importantly, they seem to be such great and generous people. For ALL the charity work they do, thank you! They are so underrated!!
