Big Kenny is sharing the love with Africa again, this time by writing an anthem in celebration of the continent who hosted its first-ever World Cup game. The big-hearted artist debuted the new tune, 'Heart Of Africa,' July 11 in Nairobi at a special concert benefiting the U.N. World Food Program, and is now offering the song up for sale on his website. Never one to sit back and watch, Kenny traveled to Nairobi himself to see the work of the U.N. food program firsthand, helping serve meals to the children of the Mathare Community Outreach School. According to Yahoo, he penned the World Cup-inspired tune with Damien Horne right before the soccer finale and is planning a future 'Heart Of Africa' celebrity benefit concert featuring some big names in the industry.
Meanwhile back on the home front, Big Kenny is also sharing the love with the hometown crowd on a regular basis at the local Nashville club 12th and Porter, bringing his 'Love Everybody Traveling Musical Medicine Show' to the club each week through August.
