Miranda Lambert is arguably having the best year of her life, and she's doing somewhat of a fall victory lap to celebrate.Miranda will headline CMT on Tour: Miranda Lambert -- Revolution 2010, which begins September 29 in New York City. Eric Church and Josh Kelley will serve as opening acts.
"Having that Texas club circuit experience at an early age and also touring with some of the best in the business for several years, I know what it takes to bring it every night and give fans more than their money's worth," Miranda says. "The CMT tour is a great way for me to thank fans for their support this year and show them I can live up to the honors."
Miranda has a lot to celebrate.
She was "shocked and overwhelmed" -- as she said on her website -- when her album 'Revolution' won her a second Album of the Year award from the Academy of Country Music. Her other ACM awards this year included Video of the Year for 'White Liar' and Top Female Vocalist. Of course, she then went on to win Female Video of the Year for 'White Liar' at the CMT awards. As if that isn't enough, her major personal news this year -- so far, anyway -- occurred in May when she became engaged to long-time beau Blake Shelton.
If her run of luck continues, there may well be even more for Miranda to celebrate when the CMT Tour begins.
