Blake Shelton Talks Tweeting, Pranking and Proposing

Blake Shelton releases his seventh studio CD this week, 'All About Tonight,' the title track of which is his fastest-rising single to date. It's the latest milestone in a year that's included his first ACM and CMT award wins, trips to the top of the singles and album charts, and -- last but not least -- his engagement to fellow country hitmaker Miranda Lambert. The Boot met up with Blake at Nashville's Starstruck Studios for a serious chat about the album (read it here), but hey -- this is Blake Shelton we're talking about. You can't go too long without cracking up. So after our music talk, we played a little 'fill in the blank' game with the notoriously funny star, having him complete our sentences about everything from his upcoming wedding to that little Twitter habit he can't seem to kick.

The last time I got in trouble with my mom was ...
Over the invitation list for this wedding -- people that she wants on there versus people that I don't want on there.

Congrats to Blake and Miranda. I really just became interested in country music and Blake Sheltons music is one of the reasons why I do listen. I also love his down to earth persona. He is a nice looking guy but his sense of humor is sexier than a six pack .I started listening to and buying other country artist's music as well after listening to Blake Shelton so thank you Blake for introducing me to the world of country music.

I like Blake on the VOICE. I think he is a great singer/song writer. I really liked the way he sang the Queen song, I think his VOICE was the strongest and matched Freddy Mercury very closely. I loved it. Freddy was my idol and I think Blake can sing anything. You can sing to me anytime baby...

Blake I like you.. honestly...but the CMT Awards are now FIXED. There is no mathematical way that either Miranda or Blake could have won by fan vote since Carrie and Taylor have MANY more fans who voted, which means either of them should have won over ML. Period. Also, the same goes for Blake winning tonight - both Keith and Jason have significantly more fans to win by a fan vote... Sony Music bought these 2 awards so they can sell more ML and BS records to boost there bottom line. Carrie should have won since her video broke CMT video records this year. Jason Aldean had the biggest male video of the year by far... this is wrong, this show is now officially rigged. I am sorry I have to be the one to tell everyone but it's the sad truth.

I have followed both Blake and Miranda from their beginnings in country music. They are both extremely talented and make a wonderful couple. They have always appeared to be very much in love and having the time of their life. My only wish for Blake is to have him danced naked at my birthday...LOL he is one handsome man. As for Miranda's weight, she is young , let her be, she is a lil doll. Wish them only the best.

i'm a democrat, but i think obama is making a mistake by going along with the construction of a mosque in an "american sacred area". the moslems have their rules and beliefs that guide them and it would be a slap in the face to the dead and their families if the very people who caused 9-11 would be able to build over the victims final resting place. the government might as well start building over cemetaries .... same difference!!
